amber is a Markdown editor developed by drfranken. All documents you create are stored in your personal iCloud Drive. The developer has no access to your documents.
Data Storage
Every document you write and edit in amber is saved exclusively to your iCloud Drive account.
- Access to your documents is limited to users signed in with your Apple ID.
- The app does not apply additional encryption beyond what iCloud provides. Your data is protected by Apple's iCloud security infrastructure.
- The developer has no ability to access documents stored in your iCloud Drive.
Data Collection
The developer collects no personal data beyond the aggregate usage statistics Apple provides as part of iCloud service operation.

- No telemetry
- No advertising identifiers
- No personal data transmitted to developer-operated servers
Network Usage
Document synchronization is handled entirely through Apple's iCloud infrastructure. No data is sent to servers operated by the developer.
Data processed via iCloud is subject to Apple Inc.'s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Third-Party Services
amber uses Apple iCloud Drive for document storage and synchronization. Data processed through iCloud is governed by Apple Inc.'s Privacy Policy.

Security
Your documents are protected by Apple ID and iCloud's security infrastructure. Apple's authentication systems — including Face ID, Touch ID, and device passcode — control access to your data.
